Can you find a good anime within all 43 genres? Of course. But “good” has nothing to do with popularity.
All of the recommendations are recommended by me, these aren't the official top list.

Romance is sometimes mixed with Slice of Life, so the two genre's have helped each other grow. Romantic Comedy is one of my personal favourite choices.
Animes like My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, Kaguya Sama: Love is War are one of best ones. But romance genre mixes well with any other genres be it action or adventure.
Your Lie in April is one of the best Romanctic Drama and is recommended to watch.

Mystery anime is usually filled with mysterious deaths, crimes, events, people or even objects. The reason why they are so fun to watch is that they always keep viewers on the edge of their seats. They are full of twists and turns that often make viewers wonder what is going to happen next. Viewers also love to follow the clues or guess how the series is going to end.

Fantasy animes are famous as it is a great way to escape the real world and dive into the virtual world. Fantasy martial arts animes like Naruto, Dragon Ball already exist in these type of genres but in this selection of recommendations, I would be recommending compelling stories,epic fight scenes,great visuals, interesting concepts and some amount of love sparkling in the air.
